When you can go anywhere to see the “Best”, it’s sometimes surprising to find you need not go far. Dr. Willhite is exceedingly talented and is well known in his field. When I was ready to have my smile worked on I scheduled a consultation. I was impressed with how thorough the process was, to ultimately deliver a beautiful smile. For my teeth, no prep porcelain veneers were placed. I didn’t even need numbing medicine for the procedure and my own natural teeth are still in place. The experience was amazing. My name is Dr. R. Craig Miller and I’m a cosmetic dentist from New Jersey. Dr. Willhite and I first met through the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) 15 years ago. It was at the AACD annual meetings that I learned of his expertise in the field of composite esthetic dentistry (bonding). Always eager to hone my skills, I wanted to learn from the best! That being said, 5 years ago I enrolled in his Esthetic Bonding Continuum course held in Chicago.
Last month my wife said, “Honey, you are a cosmetic dentist and it is time for your smile makeover.” My old bonding was getting stained and my teeth were appearing yellow. Who does a cosmetic dentist call for a cosmetic dental makeover? I easily chose my mentor, Dr. Corky Willhite. Yes, I live in New Jersey and he lives and practices in New Orleans; however, when it comes to esthetic perfection, does distance matter? Of course not! I contacted him at his office, The Smile Design Center, and was seamlessly treatment planned and scheduled for my smile makeover. My wife and I flew to New Orleans for my makeover and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the wonderful city of New Orleans, as well.

I used to not look at pictures of myself. I knew I wanted to improve my smile but didn’t want to wear braces. I came to Dr. Willhite five years ago. My teeth were worn, chipped, and discolored. He scientifically evaluated the structure and function of my teeth and bite. He worked on all my teeth, upper and lower, using bonding material on the lower teeth and porcelain on the upper teeth. The procedure was painless and efficient. My teeth look and feel perfect.
The teeth are our structural foundation for our lower face and the basis for looking good and having good health. Dr. Willhite understands that and accomplished it for me.
